1. About Learn2Care
Learn2Care is an online training platform operated by Barton Care Pty Ltd (ABN 24 129 584 311), located at Level 1/2 Eaton Mall, Oakleigh VIC 3166. By accessing or using the Learn2Care website and courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Not a Registered Training Organisation
Learn2Care is not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). All courses issue certificates of completion only. We do not issue nationally recognised qualifications, Statements of Attainment, or units of competency. Our courses are designed for workplace compliance training, professional development, and annual refresher education.
3. Account Registration
To access courses, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Account sharing is not permitted. One account per individual.
4. Course Access and Delivery
Free courses are available immediately upon account registration. Paid courses are available immediately upon successful payment. All courses are delivered as pre-recorded video modules hosted on the Learn2Care platform. Course access is ongoing unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
5. Payments and Pricing
All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Barton Care Pty Ltd does not store your payment card details. We reserve the right to change course pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect courses already purchased.
6. No Refunds
All course purchases are final. As our courses are digital products with immediate access granted upon purchase, we do not offer refunds for any reason, including change of mind. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to a course you have purchased, contact us through the chat on our website and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.
7. Content Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Learn2Care course content is developed for general educational purposes based on Australian legislation, guidelines, and industry standards current at the time of production. Course content does not constitute legal, medical, clinical, or professional advice.
Barton Care Pty Ltd makes no warranties or representations that course content is complete, current, or applicable to your specific workplace or circumstances. Legislation, regulations, and guidelines change over time, and course content may not reflect the most recent changes.
You must always follow your employer's specific policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines. Course content does not replace workplace-specific training, clinical supervision, or professional judgement.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Barton Care Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from or in connection with reliance on course content, including but not limited to workplace incidents, regulatory non-compliance, clinical errors, or employment-related decisions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion are issued upon successful completion of a course quiz (minimum 80% pass mark). Certificates confirm course completion only. They do not confer any professional qualification, licence, or accreditation. It is your responsibility to verify whether a certificate of completion meets any specific training requirements set by your employer or regulatory body.
9. Intellectual Property
All course content, videos, infographics, quizzes, text, images, and branding on the Learn2Care platform are the property of Barton Care Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any Learn2Care content without prior written permission. Downloading, screen recording, or sharing course videos is prohibited.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to share your account or login credentials with others, copy or redistribute course materials, use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to interfere with the operation of the platform.
11. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. In the event of termination for breach, no refund will be issued.
12. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Act 1988. By using Learn2Care, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date revised. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
